Sometimes we cry, but no tears fall,
A silent ache, unseen by all.
The heart speaks softly, a muffled plea,
Lost in the noise of who we’re meant to be.
The weight inside, it has no name,
A quiet storm, yet no one to blame.
We walk with smiles, the world can see,
While battles rage invisibly.
What can we do, when words feel small?
When shadows linger, and dreams stall?
Perhaps just pause, breathe in the air,
And trust that healing will find us there.
For even the night must yield to dawn,
And every sorrow will one day be gone.
So hold on, dear heart, this too shall pass,
Like rain through a cloud, like dew on the grass.
