In life’s dance, two partners sway,
Joy and sorrow, night and day.
One brings laughter, one brings tears,
Both intertwined throughout the years.
Joy, a spark, ignites the soul,
In moments bright, it takes control.
With laughter’s song, hearts find their flight,
In the embrace of pure delight.
But sorrow, too, has its part to play,
In the shadows where emotions stray.
It whispers softly, a solemn tune,
A reminder of the crescent moon.
Yet in the balance of joy and woe,
A symphony of life does flow.
For in each tear, a seed is sown,
From which new strength and hope are grown.
So let us cherish both joy and sorrow’s art,
For they shape the rhythm of the heart.
In their embrace, we find our story,
A tapestry is woven with grace and glory.
