!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lost we were, on paths unknown,
For the destination was never shown.
Life led us where we didn’t plan,
To places strange, not where we began.

A twist of fate, a fault of ours,
Some moments sweet, some bitter hours.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

………………… You know, life doesn’t always go the way we plan. There are times when we find ourselves wandering down roads we never meant to take, simply because the destination was unclear. It’s like setting out on a journey without really knowing where you want to end up. And then, before you know it, you’ve reached a place you never wanted to be.

Some of it is destiny, no doubt. Maybe things just didn’t work out, or luck wasn’t on our side. But if we’re honest with ourselves, some of it was our doing too. We made choices—some good, some bad—and they led us to places where, even though we had everything, it felt like we had nothing.

It’s easy to blame fate, isn’t it? But deep down, we know that part of the reason we’ve lost is that we didn’t stop to figure out where we really wanted to go. Sometimes, of course, we don’t know where to go. But we rushed, we took shortcuts, and now, here we are, feeling like we’ve lost something important.

But it’s never too late. Life may have taken us to places we didn’t want to go, but that doesn’t mean we must stay there. We can still pause, reflect, and choose a new path. Maybe next time, we’ll know our destination a little better.

And that’s the beauty of life—it gives us second chances. We’ve lost a few things along the way, but we can always find something new. So, let’s not dwell too much on what’s gone. Instead, let’s focus on where we want to go .

Getting lost can be uncomfortable at the time but can turn out to be a treasure. I’ve discovered this is life and in traveling. 🙂

A beautiful and encouraging message amid these words of wisdom. It’s a great attitude to learn from our life experiences but not to dwell too much upon them.

A great post. I absolutely agree with the poignant points that you raised here about life and how unpredictable it can often be. Life rarely ever goes according to plan. Change is inevitable. Being a person with Autism, I have found it difficult to adapt to changes in my life. Whether it’s change of routine, travelling or life incidents, change has always scared me. However, over time I’ve learned change is for the better.

Thanks for sharing these wise words of wisdom. I truly appreciate it.
