You know that one person who always says, “You can’t do it”? Maybe it’s a friend, a relative, a colleague, or even your own inner voice. There’s always someone who doubts your abilities, questioning your dreams and decisions.

But here’s the thing—why should their words hold more weight than your own belief in yourself? Just because they don’t see your vision doesn’t mean it’s not possible. Most people who say “you can’t” are speaking from their own fears, limitations, or experiences. That doesn’t mean those limitations apply to you.

Think about it. Every successful person has heard “you can’t” at some point. If they had listened, we wouldn’t have groundbreaking inventions, inspiring art, or powerful success stories. The difference between those who succeed and those who give up is simple—persistence.

So, the next time someone tells you, “You can’t,” don’t let it sink in. Instead, ask yourself: Why not? Let that doubt fuel your determination. Keep going, keep learning, and most importantly, believe in yourself. Because the only person who truly decides what you can or cannot do is you.
