I trusted you like the rising sun,
A bond unshaken, a battle won.
But shadows whispered behind my back,
A silent knife, a heart turned black.
Your words were silk, your smile a lie,
A painted mask I failed to pry.
Each promise made, now dust and air,
A broken bridge beyond repair.
I stood with you in storm and rain,
Yet you left me drowning in my pain.
Not with a sword, nor cruelest fist,
But love turned poison, a traitor’s kiss.
Yet here I stand, though torn apart,
With scars of steel upon my heart.
For trust once lost is never the same,
And fire reborn forgets the flame.
